Back in November 2011, I was trying to piece together what little I knew about the museum’s collection. Once it opened I walked through the galleries and saw more than 400 amazing pieces of art. However, I couldn’t keep track of which pieces were where and by whom.

So, born from my personal frustrations, I decided to build a database of the museum’s artwork. Halfway through this process I decided it would be better to share this with others. I also noted the museum’s website deficiencies in terms of Googling their collection.

My mission with this site is simple: let anyone, free of charge, search, view and comment on the works owned by Crystal Bridges.
